How to counter Rat KingHow to counter

Counter heroes, counter items and the window to fight

Heroes that do best against Rat King, the items that do best when Rat King is on the enemy team, and the window to fight. Each number compares a hero's (or item's) result against Rat King with its usual result, relative to how everyone does against Rat King, so neither a strong counter-pick nor a strong Rat King skews the list.

Their combo: Rat King plants Rule, Ratannia!: his team gets speed, slow immunity and 15% damage reduction within 20m. Then he slams it, knocking up and slowing everyone in his line of sight within 20m, and rats swarm out applying Rat Swarm.

When to fight: After the slam his ultimate is down for a long time (160s base).

Beware: Break line of sight before the slam, and don’t clump inside the banner’s 20m. Stay out of his short shotgun range.
