Privacy

Accounts are optional: you sign in with Steam. There are no ads and no tracking cookies. We don't sell or share personal data.

Player pages show public Deadlock match data and public Steam profile names and avatars, fetched from deadlock-api.com and Steam. Signed in, you can choose what others see on your profile or hide it entirely. If you want a profile hidden without signing in, contact us and we'll remove it from our pages and sitemaps.

The Counterlock overlay sends us the id of each match you finish, and nothing else: no account, no Steam id. Match ids are public, and we use them to fetch the match into our stats. You can turn this off in the overlay's Settings. If you link the overlay to your account and turn on match sharing, it also sends your Steam id, your hero, the result and which of the suggested items you bought, so the match appears on your profile. It never sends anything about other players.

Our servers keep standard request logs (IP address, page, time) for up to 14 days for security and debugging.
